中部地方整備局名古屋港湾事務所は、愛知県常滑市沖の海域に、名古屋港新土砂処分揚の建設を進めています。
（公社）伊勢湾海難防止協会では、建設工事に伴い、一般船舶（航行船舶、 操業漁船等）及び工事作業船の安全確保のため、海上の安全に関する各種の情報収集・提供等を行う情報管理業務を行っています。
